For Assistant Teacher Primary (DOE) – 1055 Posts
- Senior Secondary (10+2) with at least 50% marks and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education.
- OR 45% marks + Diploma in accordance with NCTE Regulations 2002.
- OR Senior Secondary with 50% + 4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).
- OR Senior Secondary with 50% + 2 year Diploma in Special Education.
- OR Graduation + 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education.
- Must have CTET Qualified.
- Must have passed Hindi/Urdu/Punjabi/English at Secondary level.
For Assistant Teacher Primary (NDMC) – 125 Posts
- 12th Pass with 50% marks (5% relaxation for SC/ST).
- 2 Years Diploma in Primary Education / JBT / ETE / DIET / B.El.Ed.
